About Stadium Super Trucks
The Stadium Super Trucks (SST) is an off-road racing series created by off-road racer and former IndyCar and NASCAR driver Robby Gordon in 2013. Sanctioned by the United States Auto Club (USAC) and Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS), the series utilizes identical off-road trucks that originally competed primarily in stadiums, and in 2014 began racing mostly on street circuits and road courses, often in conjunction with the IndyCar Series and Supercars Championship race schedules.
Races feature man-made ramps set up in strategic locations throughout each course which allow the trucks to fly through the air nearly 20 feet off the ground and hundreds of feet down course.
The high flying action has allowed the series to grow, becoming one of the most viral motorsports series, thrilling fans online and at-track around the world.
